Here lies my review for New Moon.

I really, really enjoyed it. New Moon is my favourite book in the series so I sort of had high hopes - and I wasn't disappointed. It was so much like the book (once again!) which was great to see. I think Kristen's performance was outstanding - honestly, how many nineteen year old girls in hollywood could carry nearly a whole movie by themselves? I think Taylor was great, he really understood his character, and although I though Robert's acting wasn't as knock-out as Kristen's, he did scare me when he sounded really threatening as he told Bella he didn't want her. I found the paleness of the vampires (ie Laurent) was much better and so were the golden eyes.

Sure, there's little nit-picky things: the wolfpack weren't the strongest actors, Alice wasn't exactly fashionable, maybe Bella understood that Edward did love her a little too quickly...but on the whole I found it a very good film and I think Chris Weitz did a fantastic job with continuity - stuff like the flashbacks and I thought the scar on Bella's wrist was particularly good. I also think that Weitz incorporated Victoria into the film very well. I enjoyed the ending too - at the end Eclipse is definatley set up for the audience. Overall, I loved it - it was crazily close to the novel, which is all a fan can ask for. I personally love that the critics hate it - FINALLY, a movie made FOR its fan base! (Take note, Harry Potter...)

And I mean...that vision of Alice's where Bella's running with Edward...there's no way there isn't going to be Breaking Dawn now

I can't wait to see New Moon again and see what I pick up a second time.
